The interview: We meet our clients to help them navigate through the process of identifying the areas that can and should be considered, often our clients will ask to change it all, but sometimes it is more than needed. We want our clients to address the key issues instead of a complete blanket approach, although we are just there to provide answers and to provide them with knowledge to ensure their wishes are met.
Pool and Spa Re-Surface: This is one of the most popular repairs performed in our industry and clients are usually fooled into believing that new plaster will make all their troubles disappear. A very thorough assessment should be carried out to identify the hidden troubles that lie just under the surface, the new plaster must be adhered to a good solid surface, not just lay it on top of a bad one.
Be careful paying a low price just to get a year or two out of it is not worth it.
The most common misconceptions are that new plaster will seal old leaking Pools and that is a lie. The Pool leak source should be identified prior to replacing the surface, sure, there are times that the leaks could be from pipe fittings or main drain covers, but knowing this ahead of time will allow for the proper repairs to be performed prior to applying that new layer.
New technology is available and it transforms how the new plaster will perform for decades to come, ask us about all of the products available that should be considered when making this very important decision.
Time for Tile: There is no better time that when the Pool has been emptied to give that old Pool a complete make over, there is no denying it, its not cheap, but it has become the biggest point of contention for properties that will not fetch the highest possible bid because the Pool does not look as good as the house. With so many choices, you are sure to find something that you will absolutely love. There are far worse places to invest your money, nice new tiles are a good bet.
The Pool Deck: Unfortunately, most people here in Florida will have one of the following, either a sinking deck or cracked concrete, sorry is not our fault.
There are several choices here and we can give you the knowledge you need to make the right decision, zero pressure from us.
Identifying key items during our interview will let us know the factors that are most important to you, and we can then offer you a solution, Concrete Pavers, Natural Stone, Porcelain, or Resilia a rubberized overlay.
Your Pool’s Equipment: Time is here and everyone needs to face reality, an old Pump, Heater, light or else is not safe to use and should be replaced. We are here to help, we love to educate our clients, it is the easiest way for anyone to realize that it’s not rocket science once you know the ins and outs of it all, don’t be afraid to reach out to us with any questions that you may have.
We install equipment from our trusted partners: Pentair, Jandy and The Poolside Tech.
We are adding water every other day: Your Pool is at a disadvantage and it’s not its fault it is leaking. The industry never considered the fact that plastic and concrete do not expand and contract at the same rates, vibration from the Pools hydraulic system, settlement, and several other factors make it almost impossible for it to hold water indefinitely.
We also offer leaf detection services; our highly accurate equipment can determine how much water is lost to evaporation and how much is lost to an unknow leak source. As soon as we have that information we will determine if your plumbing can hold pressure, and if it’s leaking we can trace it with an ultrasonic microphone to pin point its location, even under concrete, If your plumbing is holding pressure, the last test will include a leak tracer dye that will enable us to see if water is scaping around any of the plumbing fittings, skimmer or cracks in the plaster or concrete.
The industry does have an arsenal of products which can be employed during the replastering or the leak testing process to make is a leakproof as it could ever be, ask us how.
